Cookie Policy
Last updated: 30 September 2026
This Cookie Policy explains which cookies and similar technologies KRI uses on our website and in the KRI dashboard, and what each one does. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy.
A cookie is a small text file a website stores on your device. Similar technologies, such as browser local storage, work in a comparable way. We use only the ones that are strictly necessary, listed below. We use no analytics, advertising or other optional cookies, so we do not ask for your consent and show no cookie banner.
Salon pages on kri.rocks belong to the salons. A salon that connects its own Google Analytics asks its visitors for consent on its own pages, as its privacy notice explains.
Cookies and storage we use
Strictly necessary
These cookies are needed for the website to function and cannot be switched off. They are usually set in response to actions you take, such as signing in or setting your preferences.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Expiry |
|---|---|---|---|
| better-auth session | KRI | Keeps you signed in to your account. | 7 days, extended while you keep using KRI |
| NEXT_LOCALE, NEXT_COUNTRY | KRI | Remember your language and country. | 1 year |
| kri_onboarding_draft (local storage) | KRI | Keeps the answers you enter while setting up your salon, so a reload does not lose them. | Until you finish setting up your salon or clear site data |
| kri:appearance-draft:… (local storage) | KRI | Keeps unpublished changes to your salon page’s design in the dashboard, so a reload does not lose them. | Until you publish or discard the changes |
| kri_onboarding_celebration (session storage) | KRI | Shows the welcome animation once when you open the dashboard after setting up your salon. | Until the dashboard opens or the tab is closed |
| umami.disabled (local storage) | KRI | Set only if you switch Umami off below; keeps it off in this browser. | Until you switch Umami back on or clear site data |
We also use Umami, a privacy-friendly analytics tool that we host ourselves on our own server in the EU, on this website, on the sign-in and onboarding pages and in the KRI dashboard. It does not use cookies, does not track you across websites and is not linked to your account. Because it stores nothing on your device, it runs without consent. You can switch it off below.
Legal basis
- For strictly necessary cookies we rely on our legitimate interest in providing a working, secure service you have asked for – no consent is required.
Switching Umami off
Switching it off stores umami.disabled in this browser’s local storage for this web address only, and Umami then sends nothing from this browser there. The KRI dashboard at app.kri.rocks keeps its own setting: open this page there (app.kri.rocks/en/legal/cookies) to switch Umami off for the dashboard as well.
